FREE CONSTRUCTION CASH CHECK
What if a customer pays late?
Put in your expected cash receipts and payments for the next four weeks.
See the lowest projected week-end balance and what changes if less certain cash receipts slip beyond week four.
Your next four weeks
Enter cash amounts in pounds and use the week you expect money to reach or leave the bank. Include wages, subcontractors, materials and tax payments when due.
What to do next
This is a four-week snapshot based on your estimates. The cautious case assumes all less certain receipts arrive after week four. It does not account for timing within each week or replace a full forecast covering your cash cycle.
BEFORE YOU START
Use realistic dates.
1 - Count a customer receipt in the week you reasonably expect it in the bank, not when you raise the invoice.
2 - Put an agreed retention or invoice with an unconfirmed payment date into “less certain” if you have counted it in expected receipts.
3- Include cash payments to HMRC, labour, subcontractors and suppliers in their actual due weeks.
If your jobs or tax cycle run longer than four weeks, this check may miss a later cash pinch. The full Construction Profit & Cash Control service uses a rolling 13-week view.
